Summer Sustainability Tips

There is no doubt that summer is upon us, with all its blazing glory. Last month we shared some tips with you to keep cool in the heat of summer. Given the current heat wave, we hope some of those tips are helping you to stay cool. However, there are so many other opportunities to lessen your environmental impact this summer and throughout the year.

Ever noticed the parking spots by Greensprings and the Hawk on Wightman that say “Zipcars Only”? Well, what is a Zipcar?: A Zipcar is a car that belongs to SOU that students can rent for as little as 1 hour, to as long as 7 days!

Calling all digital designers!!! Sustainability at SOU is having a contest to see who can design the best Snapchat geofilters for five different sustainable aspects of our campus! All the guidelines are included in this poster, as well as Snapchat's parameters for the actual image.
