For the seventh consecutive year, SOU Recycling and Southern Oregon Goodwill have partnered to collect unwanted goods from students as they move out of the residence halls. During this year’s collection drive, SOU students donated more than 10,400 pounds of reusable items.
SOU has joined colleges and universities around the country to acknowledge the reality of climate change and the urgency of action. As part of the President’s Climate Commitment, SOU will be conducting a Campus-Community Resilience Assessment (CCRA) during the next few months.
Zero Waste Week is a week full of fun events that will promote waste habit awareness and education on how to reduce the waste that we produce.
