Institute fellows Jessica Piekielek and Christopher Lucas have initiated an ambitious project to establish a Sustainability Archive at Southern Oregon University (SOU). This project aims to curate a diverse collection of print materials, oral histories, and rich media, providing a comprehensive insight into SOU’s commitment to sustainability.
Global Innovation Scholars (GIS) is a groundbreaking international collaboration that unites Southern Oregon University and global partners in higher education. In 2023, the project supported community centered innovations in sustainability alongside the Universidad de Guanajuato.
Institute fellow, Dr. Pavlina McGrady, in collaboration with Dr. Ladan Ghaharamani from Travel Oregon, spearheaded two impactful training sessions as part of the Sustainable Tourism Professional Training Program.
