Reducing the amount of waste produced in the first place is the best thing we can do. We can do this by removing certain things e.g. single use that create waste and putting systems in place that encourage reuse e.g. water bottle filling stations.

Here at SOU, we take the “reuse” ideology into our own hands with a wide variety of reuse programs. As a result, waste here on campus is minimized which diverts waste away from landfills, and gives a second life to a wide variety of materials.
