Southern Oregon University is proud to participate in Campus Sustainability Month throughout October. This annual event, hosted by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE), celebrates higher education sustainability achievements while raising awareness of the value of sustainability in higher education.

To celebrate and kickoff a new year of sustainability advancements, we are hosting the following events:

Oct 1 Mt. Ashland Day of Service

Oct 1-15 Raider Drive Less Challenge:

Oct 3 – DL Challenge Kick-off

Oct 5 – Bike Ride to “Marinoni” Film Screening

Oct 6 – Lithia Park hike (take bus from SU)

Oct 7 – Food & Farm Club First Meeting

Oct 11- Bus and Serve at Uncle Food’s Diner

Oct 13- Raider Rideshare Meet-N-Greet

Oct 14 – Bike the Greenway Ride

Oct 16 SOU Volunteer Fair

Oct 21st OktoberFeast

Oct 26th Film Screening of “Just Eat It”
